TIM NOBLE AND SUE WEBSTER SHASOW SCULPTURES

I came across this exhibition a few years ago in Paris and found it really powerful,

the concept is simple but very well executed, it’s playful and very pleasing!

Every debris is precisely set in place, taking into consideration its distance from the wall, and its angle with the spotlight.

The result is surprising and powerful as it redefines how abstract forms can transform into figurative ones.

Materials include: Replica fruits and berries, bark and moss, plastic ornamental bowls, fishing wire, cooking oil, electric pump mechanism, metal, MDF, taxidermy animals; birds , mammals, fish, wood, polyester glass fibre filler, fake moss, wire amongst other
